Frostdale - Civil Engineering Contractors and Project Managers
Frostdale is a medium sized Civil Engineering Construction Company, which was established in September 1981.
The Company is situated in Meadowbrook, near the Logan Hospital, located within easy access to Brisbane, Logan, Redlands, Ipswich and the Gold Coast by the motorways.
Along with construction, Frostdale can also provide Construction project estimates, tendering and quoting or refer you to Specialist Consultants for design prior to Construction.
We carry out work to $5 million, whether large or small, it does not matter, every job is important to us.
We like solving construction problems. Recently our major client, Logan City Council had a problem within a housing estate, where an "old" culvert line under properties was potentially ready to fail.
We purpose built a remote controlled lift which we nicknamed "Heime" (see equipment photo's), to pick up and carry new smaller culverts inside the existing culverts and grout injected a geofab bladder with concrete above them to fill the voids, saving hundreds of thousands of dollars (using traditional techniques) and potentially a failure of the existing culverts.
